Armor — a platform for securely delegating crypto tasks to your team

Overview

Armor solves one painful problem for anyone running retrodrops or any other activity through workers: how to give your team access to wallets without handing over private keys, seed phrases, or control of the funds. The owner grants access, workers do the work, and assets stay protected at the architecture level rather than on trust alone.

The problem

An owner hires workers for routine crypto work (activity farming, protocol interactions, retrodrops). The classic setup means sharing a seed phrase or private key, which gives full access to the funds and requires full trust in every person on the team. That is a single point of failure: one bad actor or one leak and the wallet is drained. What was needed was a tool that separates the right to use a wallet from the right to control it.

The solution

We built a custom wallet on a Rabby fork and layered an access-management platform on top of it. The core of the product is a rules engine: through the dashboard, the owner defines exactly what each worker can and cannot do with a specific wallet. A worker physically cannot extract the private key or seed phrase, and cannot execute any transaction the owner has not authorized. The flexibility of the rules lets you lock the policy down as tightly or loosely as a given task requires.

Key features

  • Maximum security. A worker never gets access to the private key or seed phrase. They can only perform the actions you explicitly authorize.
  • Comprehensive rules engine. The owner connects wallets, workers, and interaction rules together, building a precise access policy for each combination.
  • Full action logging.Every worker action is logged both on the platform and in a Telegram bot. The owner sees all iterations in real time.
  • Convenient management. Add and remove wallets, workers, and rules, and configure the connections between them, all from a single dashboard.
  • Two-factor authentication. 2FA for workers as an extra layer of access protection.
  • Referral system. An invite mechanic that earns a percentage of each invited user's purchases.

At the core is a custom wallet built on a Rabby fork, adapted for a delegated-access model. On top of the wallet sits a platform with a dashboard, a server-side rules engine, and a Telegram bot integration for logging and notifications.

Status

The product is in closed beta: a pilot version with the full set of key features is already live and under testing.
